In my Design 1 class at Northeastern, we were tasked with creating a Type Orchestra poster using only the images and text provided. Through this project, I learned a lot about typography, hierarchy, and composition, and how type alone can create rhythm and movement. I also worked closely with my professor to test and understand how different markers behaved on paper, experimenting with pressure, layering, and texture to get the best results.
