PXT's New Brand Venture
Developed a full digital identity for PXT, including website and LinkedIn design.
For this project, I created banners for LinkedIn that represented each individual's brand and career objectives.
This project started as I wanted to create my own LinkedIn Banner that perfectly encapsulated my brand and career objectives. I continued to help James O. create his LinkedIn Banner as well and am open to creating more banners.
This project started as I wanted to create my own LinkedIn Banner that perfectly encapsulated my brand and career objectives. And guess what? I didn't stop there – I also helped James O. create his own eye-catching LinkedIn Banner.
With the power of Adobe Illustrator, I kicked off this journey by diving deep into creating a branding strategy that resonates with my professional identity. I then created an initial design that definitely needed some work, and went on to fine-tune and tweak every detail. This process helped me craft a banner that's impactful, personalized, and totally stands out to leave a long-lasting impression.
I would characterise myself as a versatile marketer that excels in three key areas: graphic design, public speaking and presentations, and branding. While I continue to expand my skill set, such as learning Marketing Analytics in my current role, this banner serves as a representation of my core strengths. It offers a clear and simple characterization of my expertise, with the flexibility to evolve as I grow in my career.

Here are some of the areas in which I improved on for my final design.
Background Color: The green background in the final draft is not only more vibrant and professional but also aligns with my brand color, enhancing brand consistency
Contrast and Visibility: The color contrast between the background and the elements in the green banner is stronger, enhancing the visibility of the illustrations and text.
Cohesion and Harmony: The final draft has a more cohesive and harmonious color scheme, making the design appear more polished and aesthetically pleasing
Details and Finishing Touches: The final draft includes finer details and finishing touches that add to the overall quality of the design, such as cleaner lines and more refined illustrations.

It's hard to work on a product team that hasn’t automated some part of their workflow in the name of productivity. If machines can take care of the repeatable tasks and heavy lifting, designers can focus on doing more meaningful work. But how does this affect the way we use the work being created by machines?
Jared Spool, Co-Founder of UIE asks, “What was the most important thing you learned yesterday, and how will it impact what you do in the future?”

Essentially always need to think
As designers and researchers, we essentially always need to think about how we design products for the future, even as we’re meeting the demands of present day design. A tall order, especially when things move as fast as they have been over the last decade.
